Delete your Toran account and data
You can erase your Toran data yourself, from inside the app, without emailing anyone and without waiting for us. This page explains how, what gets deleted, and how to reach us if you can no longer open the app.
Delete your whole account
Open Toran, go to your profile, and choose Delete account. Confirm when asked. Deletion is immediate.
This erases your phone number, your profile - whichever kind you hold, including your name or business name and the phone number you chose to print - your photo or logo, your notification tokens, and any pending sign-in codes. Your posters stop being generated and the daily notification stops.
Delete just your photo or logo
If you want to remove your picture but keep your account, open your profile and remove the photo or logo. The stored image is erased at that moment, and your posters fall back to your initials. Toran keeps one image per account, never a history of them.
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing that identifies you. Your phone number, profile, and image are erased when you delete your account, not queued for later deletion.
- One anonymous marker that an account once existed survives, with the phone number removed. It carries no name, no number, no photo, and no profile, and exists only so historical counts stay correct. Signing up again with the same number creates a genuinely new, empty account.
- Usage events are kept in a form that no longer points at a phone number or a profile - they become counts, not a person.
- Posters you already saved to your phone are yours and stay there. Deleting your account does not reach into your photo library.
If you cannot open the app
Write to support@toranapp.com from any address, telling us the phone number you signed up with. We will verify that the number is yours and delete the account for you.
